City of Baker, Baker Police Department to Celebrate 4th Annual Treat Street!

The City of Baker and the Baker Police Department request your participation in the City's fourth annual "Treat Street," to be held on Monday, October 31, 2022, from 6-8 p.m.

DONATE TO THIS EVENT

We ask that area businesses, along with the City of Baker and the Baker Police Department, participate in sponsoring a safe and secure environment for children to trick or treat during the Halloween holiday this year. The goal of the City of Baker and the Baker Police Department is to cater to the community by hosting this year's Halloween event in the Martin Luther King Jr. Park (City Park) located next door to Baker City Hall, in case of rain, events will be held inside the Baker Municipal Center.

The Baker Police Department "Treat Street" will have off-duty police officers set up their vehicles with trunks decorated for Halloween around the park's walking trail to pass out candy to the children of the community. The City of Baker and any other participants are asked to set up tents in designated areas around the park also, passing out candy or trinkets of choice as well, "NO SELLING, PLEASE". It is our goal to make this a community-wide, community-sponsored event.

The City of Baker and the Baker Police Department want to host an event that creates a family-oriented and safe environment for residents to enjoy the holiday. This event will be the first of many aimed at uniting the community, community leaders, public servants, and area businesses. We aim to make the City of Baker and its residents one unified community serving the city, the residents, and most importantly, the children.

Your participation in this event is greatly appreciated. We ask that you complete the attached form entailing how you are willing to participate and return it to the Baker Police Department by Monday, October 17, 2022. Additional information regarding the event will be provided upon receipt of your participation form.

We thank you in advance for any contribution to this event. Your community involvement is the key to building a more substantial city.
