If you look around, you will see it. Things are happening everywhere! Whether it is the ongoing improvements at Greenwood Park and Zoo, where the estimated $21M Phase 1 investment is underway, the addition of multiple new healthcare facilities, the new micro-transit service, LYNX by CATS, which has provided over 11,000 rides since its inception in July. Things are really booming in the city of Baker!
Remember that students ride free with a valid student ID, Senior Citizens ride for $0.35, and all other rides are only $1.75 for the first passenger; you can add additional passengers for $0.35. Find out more on the City of Baker website today!

New Housing Development by Trinity Builders on Baker Boulevard. Trinity has begun the process of clearing its first two sites for the 1st phase of its new homes project on Baker Boulevard, and they have a 2nd phase in planning now! New Housing Development off Sunshine Road by J. Breaux Builders. J. Breaux Builders have begun the process of clearing the site for the 1st phase of their new homesites on the Sunshine Road project, where there will be roughly 100-150 new homes built. Benny’s Car Wash on Main Street. Benny’s has begun the process of prepping the site on Main Street to locate their newest facility, which will house a full-service car wash, gas station, and oil change service. All Benny’s locations offer free self-vacuums, as well as providing exterior washing, and interior cleaning services, and may also provide state inspections, oil changes, fleet services, and their own branded convenience store BQUIK. There are a variety of programs available such as student prepaid, gift cards, memberships, and more available!
