Geaux Far Louisiana Week 2024: A Call to Champion Children's Futures


Geaux Far Louisiana, a coalition comprising early childhood providers, parents, policymakers, and community organizers, is spearheading a groundbreaking initiative to revolutionize Louisiana's early childhood systems across all regions.


During the inaugural Geaux Far Louisiana Week, slated from February 26th to March 1st, participants will delve into the mission and objectives of Geaux Far Louisiana. They'll have the chance to interact with Geaux Far representatives and partners, engaging in dialogues focused on fostering collaborative efforts, advocacy, and community involvement to construct a nurturing early childhood framework for Louisiana families.


Events will be held at various locations statewide throughout the week:

  • Monday, February 26th

  • Tuesday, February 27th

  • 6 PM: Statewide Virtual Meeting (Registration Required)

  • Wednesday, February 28th

  • 11 AM: VCOM Louisiana, 4408 Bon Aire Dr., Monroe, LA 71203

  • Thursday, February 29th

  • 10 AM: Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, 400 Edwards St., Shreveport, LA 71101

  • Friday, March 1st
