Baton Rouge, La. – On behalf of the “Keep BR Serving” initiative, the Office of the Mayor-President would like to recognize Raising Cane’s for their incredible bulk purchase of $50,000 in gift cards in support of the local restaurant community.
“This is a great initiative to support the restaurants in our hometown who don’t have a drive-thru. They are the backbone of our restaurant community and they have great staff who need our support. I encourage people who are in a position to do so, to purchase gift cards that they can use later personally, give as gifts to employees, friends or family or even thank a frontline healthcare worker” said Todd Graves, Founder and CEO of Raising Cane’s.
“Keep BR Serving” is an area-wide gift card campaign directly supporting Baton Rouge area locally owned restaurants and impacted service staff members while continuing to stimulate the local economy. To date, the campaign has raised over $200,000 for participating restaurants.
“The response from the local community to this initiative has been incredible, and we are so grateful to everyone who has donated thus far,” said Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome. “Todd Graves and the Raising Cane’s team are true examples of what it means to be Baton Rouge proud. Let’s continue this drive to come back stronger than ever.”
