Re-Elect Erika L. Green for Metro Council, District 5

Erika L. Green

“I know that the last thing you are thinking about during this time and in the midst of a global pandemic is an elected official urging you to do another thing, like vote. The reality is I started my journey in politics in the midst of a disaster four years ago, and my sticking with it has nothing to do with the title but people. I believe people need proven leadership, resources, accountability, progressive policies, and economic enhancement in their community. It’s our responsibility to ensure that we vote, even in times like this, for a person that stands for people. That’s why I desire to continue in my leadership and service to District 5 and the City of Baton Rouge.”

I’m serving in the Metro City Council because our community deserves more.

More economic opportunity. More affordable housing. More quality education. More public transportation. More job training.

The status quo – underfunded schools, gridlock traffic, rising housing costs – isn’t good enough.

We need continuous, progressive leadership to confront the challenges facing Baton Rouge. I will make sure our community and our city are working to make our lives better.
